The Bühler NVT-3 Level and Temperature Switch is a combined fluid monitoring instrument engineered and manufactured by Bühler Technologies (Germany). Designed specifically for hydraulic power units, lubrication oil reservoirs, and industrial fluid circulation systems, the NVT-3 solves space and mounting challenges by integrating liquid level switching and temperature monitoring into a single port connection.

The device consists of a submerged probe tube made of high-grade alloys or stainless steel, housing a magnetic float that moves freely with the liquid level to trigger reed switch contacts (Min/Max level alarms). Simultaneously, the probe tube incorporates an integrated temperature element (Pt100 RTD or bimetallic switches) to continuously monitor fluid temperature and output warning signals if thermal limits are exceeded.

By combining dual monitoring functions into one compact device, the Bühler NVT-3 optimizes tank top installation space, reduces wiring complexity, and lowers maintenance overhead. Featuring IP65 ingress protection, the unit withstands harsh industrial environments, mechanical vibrations, and chemical exposure.
