The VMR-type valve is a normally closed solenoid valve that is fast-opening.
When the coil is unenergized, the spring pushes on the disc to keep the gas passage closed. When the coil is powered, the valve opens. The valve rapidly shuts when the power is off.
This type of device is suitable for gas and air blocking and adjusting controls in atmospheric burners or fan-assisted burners, industrial kilns, and all gas equipment that uses gas solenoid valves (qualified for continuous service – 100% ED).
