The Series 5 digital force gauge is an advanced solution designed for measuring both tension and compression across a wide range of applications in nearly every industry. It offers a measurement range from 0.12 lb to 2,000 lbF (0.5 N to 10 kN), making it suitable for both routine testing and high-precision applications.

With an industry-leading sampling rate of 7,000 Hz, the Series 5 ensures highly accurate results, even for fast-action tests. The gauge provides ±0.1% full-scale accuracy and 1/5000 resolution. A large, backlit graphic LCD displays clear, easy-to-read characters, while the simple menu navigation enables quick access to a wide range of configurable features and settings.

Measurement data can be transferred to a PC or data acquisition system via USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo (Digimatic), or analog outputs. The built-in memory stores up to 1,000 readings, with onboard statistical calculations (min, max, average, standard deviation) and direct data export.

Programmable set points with visual and audible indicators are ideal for pass/fail testing and can trigger external devices such as alarms, relays, or test stands. The Series 5 is engineered with 200% overload protection, while a real-time load bar graph on the display provides a graphical representation of applied force.
