A key feature of the GAS 222.20 Denox model is its integrated self-regulating electric heating element, maintaining a constant probe head temperature of up to 200°C (392°F). Continuous high-temperature operation effectively prevents water vapor condensation and eliminates the risk of Ammonium Bisulfate (ABS) salt formation—a primary cause of sample line clogging and downstream analyzer component damage in DeNOx monitoring setups.

Furthermore, the unit features an integrated high-pressure pneumatic blowback (backpurge) port. This mechanism permits automated, periodic purging of accumulated dust from the filter element without stopping process operation or dismantling the probe, thereby minimizing maintenance costs, extending service life, and delivering uninterrupted sample gas flow to downstream analyzers.
