Indigo-compatible MMP8 probe incorporates the Vaisala HUMICAP 180L2 sensor, which is optimized for moisture in oil applications. The probe is suitable for demanding moisture measurement in a range of oils such as transformer, hydraulic, and lubrication oils and includes a CIGRE-recommended traceable calibration certificate.
The MMP8 probe measures dissolved moisture in oil in terms of water activity (aw), relative saturation (%RS), and temperature (T). It also calculates ppm concentration for specific oils.
This probe can function as a standalone instrument with Modbus RTU communication, otherwise it is compatible with the Indigo transmitters if analog outputs, relays, or a display are needed.
