0911472255The Flowline EchoPod® DS14 General Purpose Reflective Ultrasonic Multi-Function Liquid Level Transmitter delivers continuous non-contact level measurement and integrated control for mid-sized liquid storage applications. Condensation is the primary cause of signal attenuation (up to 50%) in traditional horizontal ultrasonic sensors. The DS14 solves this issue using Flowline's patented Reflective Technology™, which mounts the corrosion-resistant PVDF transducer vertically over a 45° reflector. Condensation droplets naturally shed off the vertical face via gravity, keeping the acoustic beam clear and ensuring uncompromised signal transmission even in heavily fogged environments.
Engineered with a 3.0-meter (9.8 feet) measurement span and a short 10 cm (4 inches) deadband, the EchoPod DS14 maximizes usable tank capacity. The unit incorporates four programmable SPST relays rated at 60 VA (1A max), enabling complete standalone level automation. It can be set up for 1 pump/valve control with 3 high/low alarms, 2-pump lead-lag or duplexing control with 2 alarms, or 4 independent level switch point alarms. Device configuration, diagnostics, and calibration are easily performed via Flowline’s intuitive WebCal® PC software interface using a USB Fob adapter.
